Fourth, QTRF series dissolved air flotation machine basic principle

Untreated sewage first enters the reaction chamber, fully contacts with the liquid medicine, flocculates and reaches the air flotation section, where it is fully mixed with the microbubbles generated by the bubble generator. The working principle of the bubble generator is to adopt a gas-liquid mixing pump to absorb water while sucking air, and to pressurize and mix in the pump to generate 20~30 m microbubbles.

Due to the imbalance between the gas-water mixture and the liquid, a vertical upward buoyancy force is generated, which carries the solid suspension to the surface. In the process of floating, microbubbles will attach to the suspended matter. After reaching the water surface, the solid suspended matter will rely on these bubbles to support and maintain the water surface, and will be removed by radial airflow thrust.

The suspended solids floating on the surface are continuously removed by a mud scraper which moves along the entire liquid surface and pushes the suspended solids from the inlet end to the outlet end of the flotation tank. Scraper is fixed at both ends of the chain, scraper is driven by a stepless speed governor driven sprocket transmission device. The scraper moves along the full width of the tank, scraping contaminants onto inclined metal plates and pushing them into sludge discharge pipes. The sludge discharge pipe has a horizontal screw propeller, which sends the collected sludge into the sludge collection container. The screw propeller is driven by a special motor. The purified sewage will enter the overflow tank through the outlet under the metal plate before discharge. The overflow tank is used to control the flotation tank to ensure that the liquid in the tank does not flow into the sludge discharge pipe.
