QTMF series mechanical filter

I. Use:

Mechanical filters are used to reduce the turbidity of water, either as pretreatment equipment or as ordinary filtration equipment alone, where water quality requirements are not too high. Filter medium is quartz sand, anthracite, etc. The purpose is to remove suspended substances, solid particles and colloids from water

1, suspended solids contained in water condensed flakes with precipitation and other methods can not be removed by the adhesive colloidal particles can be water through the mechanical filter installed in the filter layer, so that water transparent.

2. This product is suitable for industrial water and domestic water treatment facilities that require filtered effluent turbidity to be generally within 5 mg/L and meet drinking water quality standards. It has good removal effect on suspended solids in industrial sewage.

3. The nominal pressure of the filter tank is 4.5 kg/cm2.

II. Operation steps:

After the filter material is laid, it must be washed to wash away the unqualified fine sand or coal dust and start the official operation.

2, pay attention to keep the filter water turbidity and flushing requirements, so as not to shorten the flushing cycle and the formation of mud balls between the filter media and other adverse results.

3, filter operation in the early stage, should observe whether the phenomenon of running sand in the washing, if there is running sand, should adjust the opening degree of the drain valve (to obtain experience, you can specify the number of times to open the drain valve).

4, the washing cycle is mainly based on water loss or filter operation time to determine.

① According to the difference of inlet pressure gauge, flush when the allowable head loss value of filter is reached, and the water quality after small filtration should still be within the specified limit.

② Determine according to filter operation time:

When the turbidity of the influent water changes little, the filter is generally washed once every 24 hours (at this time, the water quality must be qualified), and the time can be determined according to the actual operation.

5. Precautions before and after washing:

① Flushing: Close the inlet pump and inlet valve, open the drain valve, and flush water from the water tower highland pool or pump into the filter for backwashing. Generally, it takes 4-6 minutes to flush.

② Recovery operation: close the drain valve, start the inlet pump and inlet valve, open the vent valve, and close it after all the air in the filter is eliminated.

Third, the choice of filter media:

1, white coal filter material: should choose solid wear-resistant, metallic luster, filter particles should be basically complete, no flaky debris, shape should be angular, nearly spherical, not easy to break with fingers, after washing, finger friction is not easy to touch.

2, quartz sand filter material: should choose clean texture, strong wear-resistant quartz yellow sand (non-building white quartz sand).  

Granular activated carbon shall be used as activated carbon filter material.
